Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) is a vibration absorbing solution to cope with the increasing power/ torque levels produced by today’s lighter engines and transmission systems. The weight saving efforts of vehicle manufacturers can negatively increase the levels of vibration. LuK engineers therefore developed the DMF to efficiently absorb these extra resonances found within the modern drive train.
